Standup Bot

Terms of use

Effective 2 November 2026.

These terms describe the conditions for using Standup Bot, a private team tool operated by Marcus Tan. They apply to its authorized team use.

Purpose of the tool

Standup Bot turns authorized meeting notes into Notion tasks, progress updates, meeting records, and Telegram recaps. It supports team coordination and follow-up.

The operator configures the Google account, meeting selection, model provider, Notion workspace, Telegram destinations, and schedule.

Authorized use

Connect only accounts and content that you are authorized to use. Obtain any necessary permissions from meeting participants and content owners before processing or sharing meeting information.

Use the tool for legitimate team coordination. Do not use it to obtain unauthorized access, disclose confidential content to unauthorized recipients, or interfere with another service.

Review automated results

Model output can contain errors or omit context. Review important decisions, task ownership, deadlines, and completion claims against the original meeting notes.

The bot can update Notion and send Telegram recaps automatically after configuration. The operator is responsible for selecting the correct workspace and chat and correcting inaccurate records.

Connected services and privacy

Google, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Notion, and Telegram provide separate services. Their applicable terms and account settings also govern your use of those services.

The privacy policy explains the data accessed, the destinations that receive it, and how to stop future access or request deletion.

Availability and stopping use

Operation depends on the operator's Mac, network connection, credentials, model access, and connected services. The tool does not guarantee uninterrupted operation or correct summaries and task assignments.

You can stop using the tool by asking the operator to stop its schedule and by revoking its Google Account connection. Content already created in connected services remains until separately removed.

Contact and changes

Contact marcus.tanchiyau@gmail.com with questions about the tool or these terms.

The operator will review changes to these terms before publication. Changes that affect data access or use will also be reflected in the privacy policy.
